Our Story

Dr. Jordan Soll graduated from the University of Toronto in 1984 and began his dental practice at Bathurst & Glencairn, in June of 1986.

His philosophy was simple – deliver excellent care, treat your patients fairly, and when possible be available to handle their emergencies. This often meant working through lunchtime or staying late to accommodate his loyal patient’s needs. Based on these principles Dr. Soll built a thriving practice. Over the first 20 years Dr. Soll took many courses in advanced restorative procedures and was one of the pioneers in Cosmetic Dentistry as this new discipline unfolded in the early 1990’s. As time went on, he became very proficient in cosmetic dentistry and branded his office “Aesthetics in Dentistry”.

He was responsible for creating smiles for many high-profile individuals including Suzanne Boyd, the former editor of Flair Magazine, a panelist on Dragon’s Den, and was the Dental Expert on City TV’s CityLine with Tracy Moore. In 1997, Dr. Soll was appointed the Cosmetic Consultant to Oral Health Journal – Canada’s Leading Dental Journal.

In 2007 Dr. Soll watched the changes of the city and decided to relocate his practice to Yonge & Eglington to participate with the growing excitement the area was to bring.

Opening the doors to the new facility at 2179 Yonge Street in 2008 offered a chance to begin with a clean canvas and design an office that allowed for the incorporation of the emerging technologies of the field. To better reflect the demographics and trends of the area, the practice was rebranded “Central Dental Group.”

In 2012 Dr. Soll was appointed Editor and Chairman of the Editorial Board of Oral Health, while continuing to take advanced dental courses to keep pace with the newest techniques. With a focus on cosmetic dentistry and smile restoration, Dr. Soll always stayed with in his core competencies and developed a close-knit circle of outstanding specialists in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Orthodontists, while having Dr. Phil Walton, an outstanding periodontist join our team in office.

After 40 years of private practice our Mission Statement still holds the guiding principles from the beginning:
